The 2026 theme, “WIDE OPEN,” is an invitation to recognize the opportunity God has placed before us.
Based on 1 Corinthians 16:9, “for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries,” this year’s theme reminds us that God has given Georgia Baptists an incredible opportunity to advance the Gospel across our state.
Every day, pastors and church leaders pour themselves into preaching the Word, caring for people, leading their churches, and serving their communities. The 204th Georgia Baptist Convention Annual Meeting is an opportunity to step away from the demands of ministry for a few days, refuel, and be reminded of the calling we share.
As we gather under the theme Wide Open, we will celebrate what God is already doing through Georgia Baptist churches while looking ahead to the doors He is opening for effective Gospel ministry.
At this year’s gathering, you can look forward to:
